Julia Scott

Julia Scott is an award-winning journalist, editor, and podcast expert with an extensive background in international journalism. At DIALOGUE, she collaborates with the team on key projects related to media and podcasting.
A veteran of three newsrooms, she has brought her narrative storytelling skills to documentaries, experiential audio and news reporting for American Public Media’s Marketplace, the CBC, the BBC World Service and Public Radio International’s The World. She is a former editor for West Coast NPR stations KQED and KALW.
Her work has been honored in Best American Science Writing and Best American Essays. She was nominated for a Sony Radio Academy Award and has won awards from the Society of Professional Journalists and the National Lesbian and Gay Journalism Association.
